Where Voice Meets Real Estate
Long before your words land, people feel your state through your sound. This show helps agents, and anyone in sales, use breath and voice to show up with authentic, grounded presence, and build real trust.
Karen Svites has been a real estate agent for two decades, and spent the decade before that on the operatic stage. Her friend and colleague, Dr. Bradley Williard, explored the voice to the depths of profound discovery. The Curious Real Estate Voice asks a simple question: what happens when you apply his breath and voice insight to the world of real estate?
It turns out the voice is where trust begins. Breath steadies the nervous system, the nervous system shapes your tone, and your tone is what the other person actually feels, long before they process a single word. Most agents have no idea how they sound when they slip into desperation mode. This show is about the alternative: showing up aligned with yourself, your body, and your nervous system, so the sale closes because trust is real.
It is made for real estate agents and anyone in a sales role, and for the consumers they serve. The goal is a world where the salesman stigma falls away, agents build a reliable and consistent business, and clients feel safe enough to advocate for themselves. Authentic confidence, ethical and trust-based selling, and a calmer, more fulfilling way to do the work.
What happens when you take Dr. Bradley Williard's expertise around the voice and apply it to Karen's real estate experience? In the first episode, Karen and Brad get curious together, exploring archetypes in real estate, communication styles, and how to come from an authentic place that builds sustainable safety and trust, both with yourself and with your clients.
Every conversation is shaped by more than words. These are the threads Karen and Brad pull on, episode by episode.
Long before your words land, the other person feels your state through your sound. Tone, not just content, decides how you come across and whether trust has room to form.
Breath is the connecting force between body, mind, and voice. Steady the breath and you steady the nervous system, which changes how you show up in every conversation.
Most agents have no idea how they sound when they slip into pushing or pleading. We name that sound, and explore how to replace it with grounded, authentic presence.
When you show up aligned instead of anxious, the sales stigma falls away. Business becomes steadier and more consistent because people trust how you make them feel.
Archetypes, communication styles, and authentic confidence, so agents and clients can meet honestly and consumers can advocate for themselves instead of feeling sold to.
Two former opera singers bring the discipline of the trained voice, and Dr. Brad's breathwork research, into the everyday conversations of buying and selling.
REALTOR® · Former Opera Performer
Karen is the founder of Karen Svites Realty, Inc. in Asheville, North Carolina, and a REALTOR® since 2008. Before real estate, she spent a decade on the operatic stage, earning her bachelor's and master's in performance. That background gives her a rare ear for how people sound under pressure, and a deep curiosity about what a trained voice can do in the world of real estate.
Vocal Pedagogue · Breath Specialist
Brad is an opera singer, vocal pedagogue, and breath specialist. He earned his Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Kentucky, where his research reimagined the singer's breath, and deepened his study through Ilse Middendorf's work in Germany and Carl Stough's Breathing Coordination. He built a performance breathwork method on a simple truth: the breath connects body, mind, and voice, and the voice reflects your state of being.

Karen Svites, a REALTOR® and former opera performer, and Dr. Bradley Williard, an opera singer, vocal pedagogue, and breath specialist. They sang opera together years ago; now they apply Brad's breath and voice research to the world of real estate.
Not at all. The show is about practical, everyday awareness of breath and voice in real conversations, not performance or theory. Anyone who talks to clients for a living can use it.
Breath steadies your nervous system. A steadier nervous system changes your tone and presence, and tone and presence are what the other person actually responds to. Aligned agents build trust more easily, which leads to more consistent business and a more balanced life.
